Welcome to a child’s build journey!
Andro has been building Gundam since he was little. His first model kit was introduced to him when he was 5 yrs old. It was a Gundam EZ-SR, you can click here to learn more about it. The build took him 2 years to finish.
In the beginning he needed someone to help him put the small pieces together. Eventually he learned to do it all by myself. The journey was not without tears, broken parts and lots of tantrums.
BUSY HANDS. BUILD ANYTHING
Like most young boys, he enjoyed taking his toys apart. Ultimately we found that the best way to deal with his active hands was to keep them busy. Instead of reprimanding him, he was encouraged to “put his hands to good use, to create and not destroy, to build after taking apart”. He was nurtured to be productive.
Building Gundam has taught him a lot and on these pages we hope to share his experiences.
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
